Welcome to USS Enterprise Legacy, the definitive online resource celebrating the illustrious history of the USS Enterprise aircraft carriers and the brave men and women who served aboard them.
Our Mission
At USS Enterprise Legacy, we are dedicated to preserving and honoring the rich heritage of every USS Enterprise that has proudly served in the United States Navy. We aim to create a comprehensive digital archive celebrating the ships, their crews, and their significant contributions to American naval history and national defense.
Why the Enterprise?
The name “Enterprise” has been borne by eight different ships throughout U.S. Naval history, with aircraft carriers holding a special place in our nation’s military legacy. From the CV-6, which served heroically in World War II, to the CVN-65, the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, and on to the future CVN-80, each Enterprise has embodied the spirit of innovation, courage, and excellence that defines the U.S. Navy.

We are committed to:
- Documenting the complete history of all USS Enterprise aircraft carriers
- Sharing personal stories and experiences of the sailors and officers who served aboard these iconic ships
